Phoenix – Former Congressman and Republican gubernatorial candidate Matt Salmon today released a new policy paper synthesizing nearly one year of in-depth conversations with the men and women who wear our nation’s uniform and the individuals and organizations who work with them to safeguard our national security.
The policy paper will provide the foundation for Salmon’s proactive efforts to improve the lives of those who have served and their families as Arizona’s next governor.
“Learning about the unique experiences and hardships faced by Arizona’s veterans has been very humbling. It is clear that much more needs to be done at the state and federal level in order to live up to the promises we made to our servicemembers when they signed up to join the Armed Forces. As our next governor, I will do everything in my power to prioritize the happiness, stability, and well-being of these courageous Americans and their families, and I hope that this new policy paper offers a glimpse into what is possible for us to achieve in the coming years,” said Salmon.
