Salmon For Arizona Governor Releases Economy And Workforce Policy Paper

Phoenix – Former Congressman and Republican gubernatorial candidate Matt Salmon today released a new policy paper outlining how he plans to further strengthen Arizona’s economy for generations to come. The policy paper will provide the foundation for Salmon’s opportunity-for-all agenda as Arizona’s next governor and comes on the heels of the formation of his Economy and Workforce Coalition.

“The American Dream is alive and well in Arizona. Arizona Republicans have done a world-class job putting in place policies that have enabled Arizona’s workers and employers to bring our state roaring back from the dark days of the Great Recession and then again during the pandemic. Today, our state’s economic growth and dynamism is the envy of the nation. I am confident that there is more that can be achieved by unleashing the limitless potential of Arizona and its people,” said Salmon.

“Our state’s next chief executive needs to be equipped from day one with a long-term strategy to take our economy to the next level. That means attracting new industries to the region, reforming our tax code further to incentivize entrepreneurship, and preparing Arizona’s students today so that they can succeed in the workforce tomorrow. This policy paper is just the beginning of a new chapter marked by greater opportunity for everyone who wants it to work hard and succeed,” he continued.
