Phoenix – Former Congressman and Republican gubernatorial candidate Matt Salmon today announced the endorsement of Douglas Price, the former Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Phoenix Division.
“Douglas’ long and storied career in the FBI is an inspiration that leaves no doubt why he ultimately earned the coveted position of Special Agent in Charge. The tough battles pursued by him and his team, which led to the takedown of criminals ranging from corrupt government officials to sex traffickers, have made Arizona a better and safer place to live. Douglas is a key member of my law enforcement coalition, and I’m proud to have his endorsement in my race for governor,” said Salmon.
Price said, “Matt is the real deal. He has a proven record of backing law enforcement of all stripes, and he understands the risks and sacrifices that these men and women take to protect our communities. With the border under siege and violent crime spiking, the stakes of the next election are higher than ever. I am proud to endorse Matt Salmon as governor because he will protect those in uniform, stand up for families, and keep Arizona safe in these uncertain times.”
