Phoenix – Former Congressman and Republican gubernatorial candidate Matt Salmon today announced the endorsement of former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett.
“I am proud to have Ken Bennett’s endorsement in my race to serve as Arizona’s next governor. Ken spent years defending election integrity as our Secretary of State and continued that work as the Maricopa County election audit’s liaison. It is vital that we improve voters’ confidence in our elections, which is why I created an Arizona Voter Bill of Rights that applies voter ID to mail-in voting, permanently bans ballot harvesting, and increases accountability and transparency,” said Salmon.
Bennett said, “Matt has a proven conservative record of getting things done for our state. His Arizona Voter Bill of Rights is a common sense proposal that outlines specific ways we can make it easier to vote and harder to cheat. I am proud to endorse Matt Salmon as governor of Arizona.”
