Phoenix – Former Congressman and Republican gubernatorial candidate Matt Salmon today announced the endorsement of Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke:
“I am so energized by receiving Kevin’s coveted endorsement today. He’s done a tremendous job serving as mayor of Chandler and has overseen a period of exciting economic growth that will benefit residents and visitors for years to come. I’ve had countless opportunities to see Kevin’s commitment to his community firsthand, including at the ‘For Our City Day’ event that we attended earlier this year, and I can’t wait to partner with him in the future to create high-paying jobs for people across this state,” said Salmon.
Hartke said, “I am very proud to throw my support behind Matt Salmon as the next governor of Arizona. I have known Matt for years, dating back to my time as a city councilman when I watched him deliver real results for our state time and again. He’s a conservative champion, who has a proven record of achieving results, and that is exactly who we need in the Governor’s Office.”
