PHOENIX – Former Congressman and Republican gubernatorial candidate Matt Salmon appeared this week on “The Bill Brady Show” (KFNX 1100 AM).
Salmon spoke with Brady about what he’ll do to secure Arizona’s border and why he’s criticizing Katie Hobbs for rubber-stamping Joe Biden’s dangerous decision to lift Title 42. They also discussed how Salmon’s proven record advocating for conservative ideas will inform his policies as governor.

Matt Salmon On Securing The U.S.-Mexico Border:
“We have a really, really serious problem on our border, and it’s only going to get worse. In fact, we could have as many as one-million more people illegally crossing the border when Joe Biden allows Title 42 to expire … We have to use every tool in the tool belt. Washington is clearly not doing its duty, and so we have a duty to protect the citizens of Arizona and we need to do whatever it takes.”
Matt Salmon On His Proven Conservative Record:
“I don’t need any on-the-job training. Whether it’s dealing with water issues, whether it’s dealing with education issues, I am so ready to do this … Arizonans have to think about us as job applicants coming to apply for a very, very important job: Chief Executive Officer of the state, managing 38,000 employees at the state level … Look at my record. I’ll put it up against anybody.”
